West Volusia is home to some of the safest and most affordable neighborhoods in Central Florida. The area is nested around Blue Springs in Orange City, known for its gentle manatees and Gemini Springs in DeBary and Deltona.
If you want to pick up the pace a little, Daytona with its fast cars, fast boats and fast motorcycles is just a few minutes to the east on I-4 and Walt Disney World just to the west in Orlando.
Our many small area business establishments, including antique shops, restaurants and various services, will welcome you as you visit or make your home in west Volusia. If you choose to live here, you'll find a sense of place and if you're visiting us, you'll find a place for the senses.

Small Business Hotline focuses on buying and selling a business
(Daytona Beach, Fla., 01/25/08) - "Buying and Selling a Business" is the
topic of the Jan. 31 Small Business Hotline presented at 7:30 p.m. on
Daytona Beach College Public Broadcasting - Channel 15.
Special guests include Thomas M. Donegan, Jr. Vice President and Assistant
General Counsel of Brown & Brown, Inc., and George Smith of Cohen, Smith and
Associates. The half-hour live call-in show is hosted by Ned Harper,
Director of the Small Business Development Center at Daytona Beach College,
and will focus on planning for business success.
Small Business Hotline will air every Thursday at 7:30 p.m., repeating
Saturdays at 4:30 p.m.
